Her long list of achievements in the US and the Australian Mile Champion title is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the years of hard work, sweat, tears and persistence. Coming back home this holiday, she reflected on her experiences and her love for this sport.
The Rise of Leanne Pompeani
At just the age of 25, Leanne already has her name down in the history book. Her time of 31:43, a 43-second PB at Sydney10 placed her as the third-fastest in Australian history. Her eyes are on representing Australia in the half marathon, cross country, and likely the marathon very soon.

As a 4 times Olympian, a full-time worker, a mother, and a professional marathoner, to this day Lisa is still breaking records. A 31:20 10K was more than what any of us expected. Here she shares the training post-Tokyo leading up to today, and how she balances her work, family and training.

Meet Calli and this is her story. From 🇬🇧 to 🇺🇸, now at 🇦🇺 training wit the bests at Melbourne Track Club. Initially training for a marathon, but shocked herself with a 15:09 at nationals 5000m, a big 28 sec PB, a CWG and World standard.
